Again this year, the Noon and AM Rotary Clubs are planning to join forces to provide people for Bleacher Patrol - renamed to Grandstand Greeters. It is a BLAST to do - and you'll meet and make TONS of new friends from other states as well as many other countries! Duties include helping people find their reserved seating section, entertaining our guests and teaching them about the "Dutch Hospitality" of Tulip Time.
Representatives from Holland's Tulip Time will be with us during this week's noon meeting - Thursday, March 8th - and can tell you more specifics...BUT in the meantime, plan on joining us in having fun with Grandstand Greeters. Any questions you might have can be answered this coming Thursday.
Please check out the link listed below for Rotarians to sign up as Grandstand Greeters. Feel free to share the link with any Rotary members or any friends who might like to help out and have fun! We need 30 PEOPLE EACH DAY to help with the three Tulip Time parades:
Volksparade - Wednesday, May 9
Kinderparade - Thursday, May 10
Muziekparade - Saturday, May 12
The Tulip Time office would LOVE to have volunteers sign up online as much and as soon as possible to give them (and us!) an idea of needed additional volunteers. It saves paperwork and volunteers will get both a confirmation with the details and a reminder prior to the event(s). (Check out the website for Tulip Time volunteers below...)
